Seongcheondaek House is a 300-year-old historic house, a Cultural Heritage Folk Material No. 172.

This is the smallest house among square shaped korean traditional houses, and the narrow, cute inside yard shows you the beautiful sky through the dynamic tile roof on the every side of the building.

Across from the yard, there is Munganchae(Daemunchae), a thatched house, having a modern kitchen and a shower booth, so that you can enjoy the modernized convenient facility.

Between Sarangchae and Anchae, there is Daecheongmaru, the main floored-hall, which lets you see the moon within the squared sky from here.

You will hear the sound of dropping rain into the squared inside yard on rainy days.

Seongcheondaek House has been mostly visited by people who like to read, do creative works, take photographs, go hiking to Juwangsan Mountain, or visit Jusanji Reservoir.
